Sirop de canneberge à l’érable pour Kir de Noël

Maple Cranberry Syrup for Christmas Kir

  • Ingredients :
  • - 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • - 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • - 1/4 cup of water
  • - A teaspoon of lemon juice
    • In a saucepan, pour 2 cups of fresh or frozen cranberries.
    • Add 1/2 cup maple syrup and 1/4 cup water.
    • Add a dash of lemon juice
    • Heat over high heat for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. Do not cover. 
    • Put everything in a blender.
    • Chill the syrup in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
    • Pour the syrup into your Kangoo pouches.
    • On Christmas Eve, pour a few drops of kir into the bottom of a glass or champagne flute.
    • Add the sparkling wine of your choice
    • Garnish with some fresh cranberries and/or a sprig of rosemary.
    • Make a splash at your Christmas party 🤭

      *The syrup can be made the day before. The syrup can be kept in the refrigerator for 5 days.
